I am a writer, an educator/facilitator, a business woman, blogger, a social networker, and a host of other titles that make up the woman that is before you today. In the famed words of Chaka Kahn, I'M EVERY WOMAN, IT'S ALL IN ME...
I am a Human Resource Manager for a publishing company. I love my job. What better place can a writer work than in a publishing company - go figure!
However, after I've put in my time, my evenings are all about my other aspirations. I write as often, as I can, and everywhere I am able. When I am not writing, I'm building my network on LinkedIn, Google+, Facebook, etc. etc. I think it's safe to say that I'm socially networked .
I have a few degrees: BA in English/Creative Writing; MA in Human Resource Mngt & MA in Adult Education. I love education, so much so, that I am now an instructor at a prominent university, a mentor to other business professionals, and a business owner. It is safe to say that everything that was planned for my life is coming to fruition, but the journey isn't over just yet.
If my energy holds out, I will be pursuing my doctorate in Educational Leadership in 2012. Through it all, even after my titles change and my professional and academic status escalates, my first love will always be writing.
I want my brand to scream: prolific writer - great educator - brilliant speaker/facilitator - dynamic and engaging leader.
My desire is that my Hubs educate, enlighten and enthrall readers, moving them to action and leaving them better than they were before they met me.
Thank you for visiting my Hub and don’t forget to leave a comment. I love all types of feedback and criticism. For me, feedback is the fuel I use to elevate my brand. It is the only way any of us will truly ever get better.
